Theo Walcott gave the Gunners the lead inside two minutes and Mesut Özil doubled Arsenal’s advantage on 24 minutes with his first goal of 2015.

Özil expressed his delight at scoring in his first start since suffering a knee injury against Chelsea last October via twitter.

Özil was part of the Arsenal side that won the FA Cup last season, ending the North London club’s nine year trophy drought.
