The 24-year-old was one of the Istanbul sides most impressive players on the evening despite being played out of position at left-back.

The Ghanian right-back also started on the weekend in the 2-2 draw against Balıkesirspor and scored on his league debut.

Opare also started against Sivasspor in the 1-0 win on Sunday 8 March at the 4 Eylül stadium and is expected to start against Club Brugge in the Europa League Last 16 the following Thursday.
