Besiktas are set to land the Portugal international play-maker Danny on a free-transfer from FC Zenit Saint Petersburg.
According the the Turkish newspaper AMK, Besiktas are close to agreeing terms with the 31-year-old who has been closely linked with Trabzonspor.
The report goes onto state that Besiktas director Erdal Torunoğlulları has met with the agent Ahmet Bulut who is representing Danny.
Danny’s contract with the Russian side expires at the end of the season .
According to HaberTurk, Trabzonspor have already established contact with Danny’s representatives and are looking to agree upon a deal before the end of the season.

Danny has been a standout performer since joining from Dynamo Moscow €30 million in 2008, wearing the captain’s armband with distinction in recent seasons.
